About Us

Hi, We are Debbie & Steve Baca. Steve & I founded Pink Platypus Emporium in 2024 to give a platform for all of our whimsical and unique home decor. We are the owners of two online retail sites. www.redcloakhome.com & www.pinkplaty.com.

When Covid hit, Steve & I both lost our jobs we knew we had to do something very quickly. Thus, Red Cloak was born. As it took off, we knew we had to eventually open a secondary store. Our hand was forced to do so when a neighbor and his wife tried everything to shut us down. But we persevered and found the incredible location we are now at. This fulfilled a dream of having a bricks-and-mortar store. We now house both stores under the same roof.

Our mission is to enable everyone to turn their space into a home. With unique budget-friendly decor for every room, our products will make you smile.

Our community: We believe in giving back to our community, and we have donated to many local organizations and charities. We also host events and fundraisers for our community.

Our Staff: With a strong commitment to excellence and taking pride in a job well done, our staff goes above and beyond to ensure on-time delivery as well as customer satisfaction.
